Overnight Newborn Care & Family Support

Gentle nights. Rested parents. A supported start.

Welcoming a newborn is a beautiful transition, but the early weeks can also be exhausting. "Eat. Play. Dream." offers personalized overnight newborn care for families who want experienced, attentive support through those first weeks of life.

Eat Play Dream was created as an extension of Eat Play Learn, Eat Play Dream brings the same thoughtful, relationship-centered approach to the newborn stage. My goal is to help parents get meaningful rest while ensuring their baby receives responsive, nurturing care throughout the night.

With over 700 hours of infant care experience and extensive hands-on experience with newborns and young infants, I bring a calm, practical approach to overnight care. I am also nearing completion of my Newborn Care Specialist training, further developing my knowledge of newborn care, feeding, soothing, and sleep foundations.

What to Expect

Overnight care is tailored to your family’s needs and your baby’s stage of development. Support may include:

My approach prioritizes responsive care, safe sleep practices, and each baby’s individual needs. There is no one-size-fits-all approach to newborns, and I believe parents deserve support that respects their preferences while keeping their baby’s well-being at the center.

The Eat Play Dream Placement

Eat Play Dream is designed as a short-term, dedicated newborn offering, with placements typically lasting 4–8 weeks. Overnight care is generally scheduled from 10 PM to 6 AM, with alternative arrangements considered by discussion.

This focused placement allows families to receive consistent support during the early newborn weeks, with the option to transition into daytime care through Eat Play Learn when a space is available and the arrangement is a good fit.

For families who would like to continue care beyond the overnight placement, Eat Play Learn offers a small, relationship-centered daytime childcare setting for infants and young children. The two programs can create a more connected care experience as your family’s needs evolve.

Booking & Availability

Eat Play Dream accepts a limited number of overnight newborn care placements each season. Families are encouraged to inquire 2–3 months before their due date to secure their preferred start window.

Because babies arrive on their own schedules, placement dates are coordinated individually around each family’s needs and availability. Occasional overnight support may also be available for families seeking shorter-term assistance.

Rates

Overnight newborn care: $45 per hour

Each placement is discussed individually before booking to ensure expectations, scheduling, and care preferences are aligned.

Continuing Care with Eat Play Learn

For families who are interested in continuing with daytime care after their Eat Play Dream placement, a transition into Eat Play Learn may be possible, subject to availability and program fit.

Families who enroll in a full-time daytime placement with Eat Play Learn may also be eligible for a prorated introductory month, depending on the timing of their transition. This can be discussed when planning your care arrangement.
